Smithson Martin Releases Emulator DJ Transparent Touchscreen Mixing Desk

Smithson Martin today introduced the Emulator DJ transparent touchscreen mixing desk that uses a transparent multitouch display to allow DJs to spin their discs. Constructed from durable toughened glass, this new mixing desk is equipped with 130 controls and uses a 2200 lumen short throw projector. The Emulator DJ comes equipped with the MIDI controller PC software which currently only works with Traktor Pro. Available in 32-inch, 42-inch and 46-inch models, the Emulator DJ transparent touchscreen mixing desk is priced at £4,300 ($6,667) upwards. [Product Page]

DJ tech has designed the DJ Mouse, which is a multi-axis input device that interacts with its Deckadance Dj software. Using the DJ Mouse kit, you can be a pro DJ without the need for turntables or vinyl. The mouse has a jog wheel which is actually a ‘scratch’ controller.
