Denon has unveiled its first Airplay-equipped network audio player, the DNP-720AE. The music player is able to connect wirelessly to any AirPlay-enabled Apple device, so you can stream music from your iOS devices. The Denon DNP-720AE also supports Wi-Fi connectivity, so you can enjoy streaming music from online services such as Napster and Last.fm. Pioneer will launch the Pioneer BDP-140 in the Japanese market. This affordable 3D Blu-ray player supports DLNA 1.5, SACD, and both Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray discs. The Pioneer BDP-140 can also read MP3, WMA, WMV, MKV and DivX Plus HD files, which are stored on your USB flash drive. The new Pioneer Elite BDP-53FD Blu-ray player allows you to access audio and video content from a variety of online sources such as Pandora, YouTube, and Netflix. Toshiba has recently announced its upcoming glasses-free 3D TV namely the Toshiba ZL2. The 55-inch 3D TV features face tracking, Resolution+, Auto Calibration, 2D to 3D conversion, and Smart TV. What makes the Toshiba ZL2 more interesting is that it supports multiple viewers at once. Toshiba claims that there are up to nine different viewing positions, which viewers can use to experience the 3D effect. The Toshiba ZL2 also offers a quadHD resolution of 3840 x 2160, WiFi, DLNA, Toshiba’s Cevo engine, a built-in Freeview HD, and a USB hard drive video recording mode. Pioneer Japan today introduced the X-SMC2 and X-SMC5 compact network Hi-Fi with iPhone and iPod support. Both models comes with DLNA support via WiFi or Ethernet, allowing you to access internet radio via vTuner or any audio file stored on your network. The Pioneer X-SMC2 and X-SMC5 also provide a DVD player with a video out, iPhone/iPod dock, and DivX playback support. Denon will release a new network player in the Japanese market. Known as the Denon DNP-720SE, the device is compatible with Apple’s AirPlay, DLNA 1.5, and most of famous multimedia files such as MP3, WAV, AAC, WMA, and FLAC. Buffalo has decided to launch the TeraStation TS-8VH24TL/R6 Network Attached Storage (NAS) in the Japanese market. The device can hold 8x 3TB hard disk drives, providing up to 24TB of storage space. The TeraStation TS-8VH24TL/R6 supports a 1.66GHz dual core Intel Atom D510 processor, RAID 6 setup, DLNA and BitTorrent. The company will release this 24TB NAS for 500,000 Yen or around $6,192.
