LaCie today upgraded its LaCinema series with the LaCinema Classic HD, which is a multimedia hard disk player with full 1080p playback and DLNA functionality. The device is compatible with DivX, MKV, AVC and H.264 file formats and supports Dolby Digital audio. Connectivity includes 10/100 Ethernet, HDMI 1.3, Composite audio/video and several USB 2.0 ports, which can be used to attach external storage. The LaCinema Classic HD is also able to stream content to the DLNA-compatible media player such as Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. Unfortunately, it won’t work with the Nintendo Wii. The device supports BitTorrent Server, FTP Server, remote web browser access, and DLNA compliant. The QNAP NMP-1000 can function as an external USB or eSATA drive to your PC. LG N2R1 NAS Device

LG’s latest N2R1 network attached storage device will be available in 1TB and 2TB storage capacities. The NAS supports Windows, Linux and Mac compatibility, an easy drive swapping option, and a DLNA-compliant, network-sharable DVD player/RW. The N2R1 has integrated WiFi connectivity for easy connection to any 802.11g wireless home network. The MyMedia feature allows consumers access to videos, photos and music through a DLNA-certified media player, placing digital entertainment libraries within easy reach of the big-screen. For music lovers, the N2R1 also has iTunes connectivity for a networked music option. The LG N2R1 NAS will be available online and at national retailers early this Fall for the manufacturers suggested retail price of $299 for 1TB of storage and $399 for 2TB of storage. [Gizmodo]

Samsung CL65 Digital Camera

Samsung will release the CL65 digital camera that features a 12.2-megapixel image sensor with a 5x optical zoom. The camera supports DLNA to make it compatible with home entertainment devices. Bluetooth 2.0 support enables users to send photos to other devices easily. A Wi-Fi connection allows users to e-mail photos from the camera or upload photos or videos to networking sites including Facebook, Picasa and YouTube. Onkyo TX-NR807 And TX-SR707 Home Theater Receivers

Famous home theater manufacturer Onkyo today introduced their latest high-end home theater receivers in the form of the TX-NR807 and TX-SR707. The TX-NR807 is able to stream audio from Internet-based services such as Pandora, Rhapsody, Sirius and Internet radio from vTuner’s database. The receiver can also play music on networked PCs and hard drives thanks to the DLNA 1.5 support. The TX-NR807 is compatible with MP3, WMA, FLAC, OGG Vorbis and AAC file playback from PCs. Other features include six HDMI inputs, upconverts DVDs to 1080p, and can deliver 135W per channel. Meanwhile, the TX-SR707 lacks of the networking compatibility, and is less powerful, at 100W per channel. Both receivers are 7.2-channel systems. Buffalo Japan boasts its new digital photo frame that is compatible with DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance). Dubbed as the Buffalo PF-50WG, the device features an 8-Inch LCD screen (800×600), a 85MB of internal memory, USB port, WiFi b/g, and a multi card reader. Buffalo’s new digital photo frame will be available before the end of this year for 19,800 Yens (€160).
