
ASUS is reportedly preparing to unleash their newest DLP projector ‘P1’ in the UK. First introduced back in December, this compact and light projector provides 1280 x 800 native resolution, 200 ANSI lumens brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio and up to 30,000 hours of LED lamp life. Not to mention, it also comes with an SD card slot, a USB port, Composite, a D-Sub port and a 2W mono speaker. The P1 will hit UK before the end of month for around 459 Euro (about $608). BenQ has released a new DLP projector ‘MP780 ST+’ into the market. Aimed at educational market, this ultra short-throw projector provides 1280 x 800 native resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens brightness, 3000:1 contrast ratio and up to 4,000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode). Not to mention, it also comes with two built-in 10W stereo speakers and a number of connectivity ports including two D-Sub, HDMI, Composite, S-Video, Stereo Mini Jack, two RCA, microphone jack and two USB Type A. Optoma hits back with a new DLP Projector, the HD23. This compact projector delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens brightness, 5000:1 contrast ratio and provides up to 4000 hours of lamp life. LG hits back with their new DLP projector, the HW300Y. This travel-friendly projector provides 1280 x 800 native resolution, 300 ANSI lumens brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and up to 30,000 hours of LED lamp life. Not only that, it also comes with a built-in DLNA connectivity, 2x 1W stereo speakers and a number of connectivity ports including HDMI, RGB, composite, component and USB. InFocus has begun shipping their newest DLP projector ‘IN5318′ in the US. This high-performance projector retails for $5,999. Acer has just announced the availability of their new 3D ready DLP projector ‘X1261P’ in India. Aimed at both educational and business markets, this high performance projector delivers 1024 x 768 native resolution, 2700 ANSI lumens brightness, 3700:1 contrast ratio and up to 6000 hours of lamp life (in economy mode). Digital Projection has announced their newest 3D-ready DLP projector ‘M-Vision Cine 400-3D’ for the mass market. Aimed at home cinema enthusiasts, this compact and lightweight projector is able to provide 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 5500 ANSI lumens brightness, 120Hz refresh rate and can display both 2D and 3D contents. Not to mention, it also comes with a number of connectivity ports including two HDMI, RGB, component, composite as well as S-Video. Designed for SMB’s and classrooms, this new projector is able to provide 1024 x 768 XGA resolution, 2600 ANSI lumens brightness, 4000:1 contrast ratio and 120Hz refresh rate.
