The Mamiya DM22 comes with a 22-megapixels of CMOS sensor, meanwhile the DM28 has a bigger 28-megapixels CMOS sensor. Unfortunately, these high-end cameras are not cheap. Canon EOS-1D Mark IV DSLR Powerhouse

Canon today unveiled the EOS 1D Mark IV, which is a high-speed digital SLR camera developed for professional photographers. The new camera features a 16-megapixel Canon CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 4 Imaging Processors, and 14-bit A/D data conversion, all at 10 frames-per-second (fps), with the widest ISO range Canon has produced to date. Sony A500 / A550 Digital SLR Cameras

Sony will release two new alpha DSLR cameras that adopt a new generation of Exmor CMOS sensors and BIONZ image processors. The A550 (14.2MP) and A500 (12.3MP) digital SLR cameras come jam packed with a 3-inch LCD screen that tilts 90 degrees up or down and two Live View functions. The A500 has a 230,000 pixel Clear Photo display, while the A550 features a 921,000 pixel Xtra Fine display. The Sony A550 and A500 will retail for $950 and $750, respectively. Pentax K-7 DSLR Released in Japan

Pentax will release K-7 in the Japanese market in the end of June this year. It is a lens-interchangeable digital SLR camera that has a wide array of advanced functions and user-friendly features. The K-7 features a 14.6 effective megapixels, a high-speed movie data transmission, and a newly developed PRIME (PENTAX Real Image Engine) II that provides greater data-processing speed and produces better-quality images with richer gradation and more accurate color rendition. Pentax K20D Titanium Limited Edition

Pentax has released the Pentax K20D Titanium Limited Edition that features a 2.8-inch LCD screen, image stabilization and dust proofing. The original version of the Pentax K20D is available for $700, meanwhile the limited edition Titanium version costs a whopping $1199. Canon Kiss X3 with Full HD Video Recording

Canon has announced a new DSLR camera called Canon EOS 500D (known as Canon Rebel T1i in North American and Canon EOS Kiss X3 in Japan). This consumer level DSLR camera features a 15MP sensor and 1080p HD video recording at 20fps. Other important specs are a 3 inch LCD screen with 920,000 dot resolution and ISO sensitivity up to 12800. The Canon EOS Kiss X3 will be available in April 2009 for around $800. Nikon New D3x DSLR Officially Announced

Nikon today introduced the long awaited D3x DSLR camera. It is a 24.5MP(CMOS Sensor) DSLR that is able to take pictures in 6048 x 4032 resolution with the EXPEED™ Image Processing System that shoots about 5 frame per seconds, and 7 fps in DX crop mode. Priced at €6300, the camera also boasts an ISO sensitivity from 100 to 1600, expandable to 50 (Lo-1), and 6400 (Hi-2). Other features include a 3-Inch LCD screen, and HDMI output. What makes the Nikon D3x more special is that it is also compatible with Nikon’s GP-1 GPS receiver, and is able to capture up to 4400 shots per single charge of its lithium ion battery.
