Japan-based company, Kumazaki-Aim has come out with another 2-in-1 gadget for the Japanese market. Dubbed as the NRT-350S, the device integrates a portable video projector with a DVD player all in one package. Weighing 2.5 kilograms, the projector offers a native resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, 300:1 contrast ratio, 200 lumens brightness, a memory card reader (SD, MMC) and a 3Wx2ch speaker. LG has come up with their own version of digital photo frame, introducing LG DP889 Digital Picture Frame/DVD Player. But this time, their DP889 unit not only features an 8-inch LCD display but also has an integrated DVD player. It also comes with a 3-in-1 memory card slot, built-in speakers and dual headphone jacks. The supplied battery pack provides up to 3 1/2 hours of playback. After digging deep into the net, no words of where this scary-but-cool looking terminator skull / DVD player came from. But it still looks good, we think it deserves posting. Toshiba will be releasing a DVD player featuring HDMI output the end of June called the SD-590J. The DVD player can show an image in 1080p, uses 192kHz/24-bit audio DACs and 54 MHz/14-Bit Video DAC, and can read MP3/WMA audio files and DivX files, and a JPEG image. Pioneer is launching a new combo DVD Player/5.1 Surround System called the HTZ-373DV. The HTZ-373DV features a HDMI output in 1080p, can decode Dolby NR Digital, Dolby NR Professional Logic II, and DTS formats, and has support for MP3 and WMA files along with five 60W surround speakers, one 60W subwoofer, and one 30W central speaker.
