
Toshiba is back with a couple of new portable DVD players namely the 9-inch REGZA SD-P96DT and 7-inch REGZA SD-P76S. The Toshiba SD-P96DT provides a 800 x 480 resolution and has both 1-Seg digital and analog tuners, while the Toshiba SD-P76S comes with a 480 x 234 display and no TV tuners at all. Both portable DVD players feature an SD/SDHC memory card slot, and can play DivX video, MP3/WMA music files and JPEG images from either a card or a DVD. Each purchase comes equipped with a 12V adapter for in-car use, an A/V output cable and a remote control, while the larger version gets external antennas for the tuners. The new LG FB44 iPod docking station has been unveiled during IFA 2009. The iPod dock produces a total output power of 40-watts, which is more than enough for listening to music in a small room.
