
Transcend has rolled out its latest slim portable DVD writer called the TS8XDVDRW. Targeted towards netbook users who are always on the move, the drive features a USB 2.0 connection interface and provides maximum write speeds of up to 8x for DVD-R/+R and 24x for CD-R/-RW. Here’s another ultra compact external DVD writer from Kanguru, the QS Slim. Targeted towards netbook users who are always on the move, the drive provides maximum write speeds of 22x for DVD+R/-R, 8x for DVD+R DL and DVD+RW, 6x for DVD-R DL and DVD-RW, 52x for CD-R and 32x for CD-RW. Most of us still rely on the DVD technology. Pioneer knows that and has decided to release two new DVD burners in the form of the DVR-2920Q internal DVD writer and DVR-X162Q external DVD writer.
