The Toshiba Gigashot GSC-DW1 DVD burner allows you to connect a DV Cam and burn the video on a DVD disc without using PC. The burner features a USB port for connecting digital cameras and storing the photographs on a disc. The Gigashot GSC-DW1 also sports HDMI output to view the recorded content on the monitor. Korean company Bluedot has dropped their awesome new portable dvd player on shelves in Japan. The BDP-1725 features LED backlight, supports DVD±R/RW, CD-R/RW and has 5 hours of play time. Look for this sometime next January for $203.

This greatest invention ever made! You wont need to worry about being connected to a computer when copying CD’s or DVD’s again with this EZ Dupe duplicator. It copies both your DVD’s and CD’s alot faster at speeds of 8x speeds for DVD’s and CDs at 16x speeds. However, you can use Lightscribe to engrave images and writing when connected to a computer.

LG’s second-generation Super Blu Player, known as the BH200, a hybrid player that plays both HD DVD and Blu-ray discs without the format hassle. It also gives you access to more than 50% of high definition movie titles, boasts BD Standard Profile and is compatible with BD Standard Profile 1.1. The BH200 reads audio files that are not MP3’s so you wont have to worry about converting them just yet. LG’s Super Blu is available nationwide for $1000.

Panasonic has released their VW-BN1 DVD burner without using a computer saving the material to your Panasonic camera recorder on a 12cm disc by plugging it into your USB port and pressing a button. Panasonic will drop this burner late December in Japan.
