Dahon BioLogic FreeCharge

Dahon has recently released their latest bicycle accessory, the BioLogic FreeCharge. It is an incredibly useful device that is able to recharge your USB-connected gadgets each time you take your bicycle out. The gadget comes in a small silicone-encased box which connects to your bike’s generator hub and siphons off power for charging your gadgets. The unit consists of a battery and circuitry to both store electricity and to smooth the inevitable bumps and spikes in the generator’s output. Dahon claims that a full charge will be reached at around three hours of cycling. The BioLogic FreeCharge will be available in March 2010 for around $100. [Wired]
