Electrolux Cook Top Vesta

Here is another unique conceptual cooking surface by Matthias Pinkert, the Electrolux Cook Top Vesta. Designed especially for people who are always on the move, this fold-down cooking surface can be flipped open upwards and used as a preparatory surface, where flipping it otherwise will turn it into a cooking surface. Not only that, It also read RFID labels on food packaging so that you won’t overcook or undercook your food. [YANKO]

created by Stefan Buchberger, the Electrolux Flatshare Fridge uses modular stacking mini-units to provide personal refrigeration compartments for everyone in the household. The fridge is divided into five distinct and equal compartments, one on top of the other. Each compartment has ample space for bottles, cans, and foodstuff. With this one, you definitely would not need to buy separate fridges to maintain privacy with your housemates. [Ohgizmo]

Electrolux Inspiro Intelligent Oven

Electrolux Inspiro Intelligent Oven

Electrolux is launching an important new oven called Inspiro – the first oven that automatically determines the right way to cook a dish to consistently achieve the desired result. A heat management program automatically selects the right heating mode based on the contents of the oven. Rather than just measuring the air temperature with a thermometer and regulating it with a thermostat, the way a conventional oven operates, Inspiro uses sensors to calculate the precise combination of energy consumption and time needed to bring the food to the correct temperature. This is similar to the way cameras now automatically set aperture, exposure time and focus, depending on the light and what’s in the frame. [ElectronicHouse]
