LG Philips 16.7 Million Color Electronic Paper

LG Philips first introduced this flexible paper but this time with 16 million colors, 1.280 x 800 pixels and 7,000 hours between charges using a typical battery. Check this special paper out at the, you guessed it, the 2008 CES in Vegas. Hopefully this paper is delicious in quality like it is in the picture above.

Bridgestone Develops The Thinnest Electronic Paper

Bridgestone Japan has managed to develop an A3 sized color electronic paper which claimed to be the world thinnest electronic paper with only 0.29-millimeters thick. The firm has showcased the concept at the FPD International 2007 exhibition held at Yokohama. This “paper” offers a viewable area of 435mm x 326mm and can display 4096 colors at 80dpi resolution. In addition, the electronic paper utilities QR – LPD (Quick-Response Liquid Powder Display) which the company has been developed over the years.
