Bird Ezison 0 Passive Speaker

Bird Electron has just announced the Ezison 0 passive speaker. It hooks up to a 3.5mm plug which allows it to get power from the source itself. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with volume controls but instead has a switch to change between High and Low output. These speakers will retail for $70 in Japan and are available in red and white colors as well as gold, silver and blue with a metallic finish. [NewLaunches]

Audio-Technica Releases 2 new DAP Speakers

Audio-Technica has dropped 2 new models of DAP speakers. The first one is the AT-SP250 which can be hooked up to any iPod as well as the iPhone and iPod Touch. The other one is called the AT-SP230 which can be used with all digital audio players including all models and brands. No word on when and how much these are going for, but they shouldn’t be pricey considering they’re pretty basic. [Akihabara]

Panasonic has dropped the SC-PM870SD with 3 way speakers and the SC-PM670SD (silver and black) with 2 way speakers. They both feature an Ethernet port to download data according to the CD you’re listening to,MD Support, 5CD charger, 8x CD dubbing to SD cards and 1 Bit DAC D/A converter for CD. The AS-PS66 is a waterproof speaker that can fit any iPod-sized MP3 player that can hook up to the onboard speaker with stereo mini. Sony Drops Giga Juke Audio Players in UK

Sony will be launching a new Giga Juke line of audio players in the UK. The first two models are the SC55PKE which has 80GB of storage, 16x CD ripping, a 4.3-inch LCD and iPod / walkman support, and a wireless hookup for beaming to a wireless control unit along with five wireless speakers.
