Here a good solution for people who love video streaming as well as different files formats. The LaCinema can double up as a USB 2.0 external hard drive and has AV options including composite, S-video and component video, analog stereo, and optical and coaxial surround-capable digital jacks. The LaCinema Premier is available in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB capacities going for $250, $350 and $500. Not a bad deal at all.

Looks like black is in with the Parrot Party Black Edition portable digital speakers. The speakers are powered by a built-in rechargeable battery that has up to 8 hours of non-stop audio playback, a Class-D amplifier, two drivers and 6 watts of power output. The Parrot Party Black Edition will be released in Q2 2008 for $144.

Ceratec has released Xeno speakers that feature colorful LEDs lights that light your room with a rainbow glow. You’ll be able to choose from a wide range of colors and grilles all the way from mini, mid-sized and tall versions. These will be going for anywhere from $1,169 to $3,928, while the LED range are more for the mid-sized and full size at $7,069 and $8,640. The Xeno speakers made be the best home accessory next to lava lamps.

Check out these 3-D cubic speakers by JVC. The SP-A440 speakers come with an output of 1.75Wx2ch and has a body size of 61.5×61.5x65mm for a weight of 163g. Now you can simulate surround sound wherever you go with this 2-channel speaker and best of all they’re easy to travel with. So far, there’s no word on pricing or an actual release date yet but there should be soon.

Yanko Design must’ve been thinking about Pandas when they made this bamboo speaker concept. Who says that bamboo is just for pandas. The speaker features WiFi connectivity, an integrated LED display that shows the equalizer, MP3 line-in, remote desktop synching, and a CD player. The speaker concept consists of three parts:right/left channel wireless speakers, a base station and a control ring. Unfortunately this concept hasn’t made the cut yet but I sure hope it does!

Paradigm’s Esprit Hybrid on-wall speakers are just what the doctor ordered if you want flat speakers that kick a mean beat. It features multiple placement options and can be mounted on the GS-40 stand while it automatically adjusts the sound for correct free-air frequency response for excellent sound quality.The price isn’t too shabby either, $1,099 so it better have great sound quality!

Mitsubishi has broke out two new models of home projectors. The XL1550U and XL2550U which are more for home entertainment than anything, come with lots of features. The XL1550U features an XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, 3,100 ANSI lumens and a lamp life of up to 5,000 hours.While the XL2550U, has the same resolution but has up to 4,000 ANSI lumens, the new BrightEra LCD panels and a lamp good for 4,000 hours of use. Both will have side-loading lamps, built-in Ethernet ports for LAN asset management and an RS-232 port for third-party integration. Both of these will be available this month going for $3,995 and $4,495.

Here’s a great multi-purpose entertainment system from Philips. The DCD778/37 docking system comes with lots of features such as: a 8.5″ widescreen LCD display, Built-in cooking timer and clock, Integrated iPod dock, and a DVD and audio CD playback. Price and availability is still unknown.
