Epson today announced two new ultra short throw projectors namely the PowerLite 450W and PowerLite 460. The Epson PowerLite 450W features 2,500 lumens brightness with a 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution. Meanwhile, the Epson PowerLite 460 has a brighter 3,000 lumens with a 1,024 x 768 pixels resolution. Epson has recently introduced the portable Epson PictureMate Charm photo printer that is perfect for photographers who want to have and send out copies of their captured photos. This printer is able to print superior 4-inch x 6-inch photos with true-to-life skin tones, amazing detail and sharpness in as fast as 37 seconds. Priced at $149.99, the Epson PictureMate Charm features a 2.5-inch LCD, a multicard reader, optional Bluetooth support (via a separate adapter) and room for either 150 glossy sheets or 100 matte sheets of 4-inch x 6-inch paper. The PowerLite Presenter is the latest all-in-one multimedia projector from Epson that comes with a built-in DVD player. Featuring the company’s latest 3LCD display technology, the projector provides a WXGA resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio, 2,500 lumens brightness and up to 5000 hours of lamp life (in economy mode). Epson has announced its new mid-range photo scanner, the Perfection V600. This energy efficient scanner offers an optical resolution of 6400 x 9600 dpi and a Dmax of 3.4 for creating high-quality enlargements up to 17-inch x 22-inch. Other new features worth mentioning include a built-in Transparency Unit (TPU) that supports full panoramic medium format film and powerful photo restoration tools for both film and prints to bring faded and damaged photos back to life. Epson has showcased another all-in-one home cinema projector at IFA 2009. Dubbed as the EH-DM3, this highly portable projector boasts a built-in DVD player that not only plays your DVD discs but also plays DivX files. As for the projector itself, it provides a native screen resolution of 940 x 540 pixels, 2000 lumens brightness and 3000:1 contrast ratio. Other features include built-in 2×10W stereo speakers, a microphone input for karaoke, an HDMI port, a USB port and a PC connection port. If you have at least 88900 Yen ($963) in your pocket, then you can purchase the Epson Endeavor MR6500. The desktop is powered by the latest Intel Core i5-750 CPU with a P55 Express Chipset motherboard. Other features include a 250GB of HDD, a DVD Drive and an nVidia GeForce 9500GT with 512MB of VRAM. Sadly, the Epson Endeavor MR6500 only has a poor 1GB of RAM (PC3-10600), so you should upgrade it to make this computer run faster. [Akihabara]
Epson has introduced their latest home theater projectors at the IFA conference this week. The Epson EH-TW5500 and EH-TW4400 feature full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and 1600 ANSI lumens. The TW4400 projector boasts a 130000:1 contrast ratio, while the TW5500 provides a greater 200000:1 contrast ratio. Both projectors adopt Epson’s D7 C2Fine display panel delivering bright and crystal clear images. Epson today introduced their latest Endeavor Na02mini-V. The netbook provides a 10.1-inch LCD display with 1024×600 resolution, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU based on the 945GSE Express video chipset, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB of HDD, and WiFi. Epson introduces a new addition to its Endeavor family of desktop PCs with the all new AY300-V. This new desktop PC is offered in two different configurations, either with a Celeron 430 CPU and 1GB RAM or a Core 2 Duo E7500 CPU and 2GB RAM. While, the rest of the specs are the same for both models, a 160GB HDD, an optional DVD drive or DVD Super Multi and a choice of either Windows XP Pro or Vista Business.
