
The Epson PX650 is a high definition all-in-one printer specifically designed for digital photography enthusiasts. The printer supports a 2.5-inch LCD screen, PictBridge support, and a memory card slot. It doesn’t even require a PC to operate. The PX650 also allows users to scan, copy and print photos that exceed lab quality. Epson comes back with its new compact projector in the form of the PowerLite 410W. It offers native WXGA resolution (1280×800) through Epson’s 3LCD Technology, a brightness of 2000 lumens and an optional wall mount for added flexibility. The projector adopts a short throw lens that projects a 60-inch 16:10 image from two feet away, which is ideal for wall mounting. There is also a RJ-45 wired LAN connectivity for remote monitoring and control. The PowerLite 410W will be released later in April for an estimated street price of $1,299. [dcviews]

Epson offers the Mini Endeavor as a Windows Home Server under the SV120h name. In case you didn’t know, the Epson ST120 Endeavor measures at only 75mm x 185mm x 195mm and was a real competitor of the Mac Mini in Japan. It is available in two configuration, a 2GHz Celeron 575 CPU or a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo P8600 CPU, from 160GB to 2×500GB (1TB) of HDD. By default the VC120h will be powered by an Intel GM45 Express video chipset, a 1GB of RAM (up to 4GB) and an average DVD Super Multi. Epson Japan has announced its latest Business to Business (B2B) laptop which is dubbed as the Endeavor NA802. The 13.3 inch WXGA notebook comes jam packed with a Core 2 Duo P8400 processor, an nVidia GeForce 9600M GT with 256MB of VRAM, 1GB to 4GB of RAM, and a wide range of 5400 or 7200rpm HDDs or a 128GB (MLC) SSD drive. The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 6500UB is a 1080p LCD projector that features the latest 3LCD D7 chipset with UltraBlack technology. The projector adopts 12-bit 3LCD driver technology that allows for the reproduction of 68.72 billion colors. It also has a dynamic iris that can make adjustments up to 60 times per second. Other features include two HDMI 1.3a inputs, a VGA-type RGB input, a 2.1x zoom, 100 percent vertical and 50 percent horizontal lens shift, 22 dB noise level, a contrast ratio of 75,000:1 and a light output of 1,600 lumens. The 6500UB utilities Silicon Optix’s Reon-VX HQV processor to ensure the input signals from 480i to 1080p works perfectly. Epson is kind enough to upgrade its Epson ST120 desktop series with a Blu-ray drive. It is actually the smallest desktop PC from the Japanese manufacturer that measures at just 75mm x 185mm x 195mm. The desktop also features a 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo P8400 with 1GB of RAM, 80GB of HDD (upgradeable to up to 320GB), and GM45 Express chipset. EH-TW400 is a new high-end projector from Epson Japan, that supports full 1080p high-definition. The main specs are new D7/C2FINE LCD, brightness level of 1,600 lumens, two HDMI 1.3a ports, 2.1x optical zoom, four-way lens shift control and adopts DEEPBLACK technology for an improved black level. Epson today rolled out the new cinema projector to the market. The PowerLite Home Cinema 700 offers 720p resolution with 3LCD technology, up to 2,000 lumens of brightness, and supports Component Video, S-Video, HDMI and USB connections.
