
Epson today released new Stylus printers, the NX300, NX200 and NX100. The Epson Stylus NX300 is able to fax documents and boasts a 30-page Auto Document Feeder (ADF). This printer is rated to print at speeds up to 31ppm. The fax function has a 100-page memory and supports ABBYY FineReader OCR software that can turn printed documents into editable text. The Epson Stylus NX200 allows users to print without a PC via its built-in memory card reader or Epson’s PictBridge USB interface. It is also capable of print 32ppm in black and color. The Epson Stylus NX100 can print 26ppm in black or 14ppm in color.

Epson comes back with three new projectors at the CEDIA Expo that support High Definition 1080p resolution. Known as the PowerLite Home Cinema 6100, PowerLite Pro Cinema 7100 and the high-end Pro Cinema 7500 UB, these projectors provide 75,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2.35 or 2.4 aspect ratio viewing, and adopts C2Fine software and FineFrame technology. The Pro Cinema 7100 offers a 18,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 1,800 lumens of brightness and a Day and Night mode. Meanwhile, the PowerLite Home Cinema 6100 boasts a 18,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a Dynamic Iris system and a 200W lamp. Epson has revealed a new all-in-one projector hybrid that incorporates 1200 lumen projector with a DivX-capable DVD player and 8W stereo speakers. Epson EH-DM2 is 3LCD based, which is basically a new technology that removes rainbow effects and offers more colors. It also has a USB port for memory devices , digital cameras and the like, so you get to do things like viewing slide-show of photos, and listen to MP3s in the background. The projector will come in a slender physique that is practical to carry about. EPSON recently has come up with a new high-end projector, Epson EH-TW5000. It features 1600 ANSI Lumens brightness, full high-definition 1080p, with a dynamic contrast ratio of 75,000:1, utilizing advanced DeepBlack technology and E-TORL lamp. Connectivity includes a relatively modest two HDMI slots, plus composite, component, S-Video and D-Sub inputs. Expect a full blown Cinema display, at the comfort of your own home. Epson has announced two new color, all-in-one inkjet printers, the Artisan 700 and 800. Both are six-color systems, and have features such as automatic photo correction, USB, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections, and the ability to print directly from CF, SD/SDHC, xD and Memory Stick cards. As the high-end model, the 800 supports scanning and copy resolutions up to 4,800dpi, and can print text content at up to 38 pages per minute, or a 4×6 photo in approximately 10 seconds. Images are previewed on a 3.5-inch LCD, and the system is also equipped with an automatic document feeder. The 700 drops the feeder, and also scales down to 2,400dpi and a 2.5-inch screen. EPSON has just added a new model to its projector lineup called MovieMate 55. The high-quality projector combines a CD/DVD player and stereo speakers in one portable unit. Weighing only 8.3 pounds, the Epson MovieMate 55 features a sleek, compact design with a built-in handle and cushioned carrying case for portable convenience. Epson today announced the development of high-resolution low-temperature polysilicon (LTPS) TFT LCD featuring Photo Fine Premia technology, which boasts both a wide viewing angle and a wide color range. The display will be viewable at even steep angle of 80 degrees from the top, bottom, left, or right. The LCD will debut with the P-6000/7000 photo viewers to be released worldwide in early September 2008 by Seiko Epson Corporation. Epson P-7000 offers superior image quality, plus a high-capacity, 160GB hard drive – very useful for photographers on the go needing solution to back up and transfer his hi-res images. Epson has introduced a brand new printer on the Stylus series called NX400. It is a 3-in-1 product that can work as a printer, photocopier and scanner. One of the cool features is that you don’t need to use a computer in order to print, because it works with memory cards and a PictBridge port. The print preview can be seen on 2.5-inch LCD screen, and thanks to the photo correction software you can make a few changes before pressing the “Print†button. As for the speed of pages per minute, in black and white it can handle 34 pages. As for colorful photos in a 4×6-inch format, the timing is set to 26 seconds. The Epson Stylus Photo 2880 will be released next month. Priced at $799.99, the printer adopts the same print engine as the higher-end Stylus Pro x880 models, including the same Ultrachrome K3 inkset, which replace standard Magenta and Light Magenta with a Vivid Magenta and Vivid Light Magenta in addition to the standard lineup of Cyan, Yellow, Light Cyan, Light Black, Light Light Black, and Matte or Photo Black.
