Epson comes back with a couple of consumer-oriented flatbed scanners in the form of the Perfection V33 and V330. Both scanners come equipped with a bundle of software that include ArcSoft Scan and Stich Deluxe. The Epson Perfection V33 and V330 are compatible with Mac and Windows. The Endeavor MR6700 is Epson’s latest business-oriented computer. The desktop is now available on built-to-order basis with CPU ranging from the Intel Core 2 Duo, i3, i5 and i7 CPUs. The basic model comes equipped with an Intel Pentium G6950 CPU, a 1GB of RAM, a DVD-ROM Drive and a 250GB of hard disk drive. Epson is now offering an updated version of its Endeavor Pro7000 desktop PC line-up that comes equipped with the newest Intel Core i7-980X processor. At a starting price of 261,870 Yen (about $2,900), you’ll get yourself a 3.33GHz Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition processor, an ATI Radeon HD 3450 256MB VRAM GPU, a 3GB DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a DVD drive and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Epson has introduced a new projector during this year’s FETC event by announcing the PowerLite 83V+. Aimed specifically at education users, this easy-to-use and affordable projector adopts Epson’s latest 3LCD display technology and provides an XGA resolution, 2,200 lumens brightness, 1.2x optical zoom and up to 4,000 hours of lamp life (in economy mode). In addition, it also comes with a built-in 10-watt speaker, a closed captioning decoder to accommodate students with hearing impairments and several connectivity ports including dual VGA, audio-out, monitor-out and RS-232c. Epson hits back with a new nettop PC ‘Endeavor NP12-V’ for the Japanese market. Measuring 74.5mm x 153.5mm x 198.5mm, this space-saving computer integrates a 1.6GHz Intel Atom 230 CPU, SiS672 (integrated video) + SiS968 chipsets, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium OS and is Energy Star 5.0 compliant. Epson has recently rolled out the PictureMate Show PM 300 which not only functions as a regular photo printer, but it also doubles up as a digital photo frame. The PictureMate Show PM 300 can print out full-color 4×6-inch prints and has a 7-inch LCD display with 800×480 pixel resolution. Each purchase comes with a remote controller to provide you with full control of the photos. In addition, the PictureMate Show PM 300 also provides a 270MB of internal memory allowing you to store your favorite photos. Epson today announced two new ultra short throw projectors namely the PowerLite 450W and PowerLite 460. The Epson PowerLite 450W features 2,500 lumens brightness with a 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution. Meanwhile, the Epson PowerLite 460 has a brighter 3,000 lumens with a 1,024 x 768 pixels resolution. Epson has recently introduced the portable Epson PictureMate Charm photo printer that is perfect for photographers who want to have and send out copies of their captured photos. This printer is able to print superior 4-inch x 6-inch photos with true-to-life skin tones, amazing detail and sharpness in as fast as 37 seconds. Priced at $149.99, the Epson PictureMate Charm features a 2.5-inch LCD, a multicard reader, optional Bluetooth support (via a separate adapter) and room for either 150 glossy sheets or 100 matte sheets of 4-inch x 6-inch paper. The PowerLite Presenter is the latest all-in-one multimedia projector from Epson that comes with a built-in DVD player. Featuring the company’s latest 3LCD display technology, the projector provides a WXGA resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio, 2,500 lumens brightness and up to 5000 hours of lamp life (in economy mode). Epson has announced its new mid-range photo scanner, the Perfection V600. This energy efficient scanner offers an optical resolution of 6400 x 9600 dpi and a Dmax of 3.4 for creating high-quality enlargements up to 17-inch x 22-inch. Other new features worth mentioning include a built-in Transparency Unit (TPU) that supports full panoramic medium format film and powerful photo restoration tools for both film and prints to bring faded and damaged photos back to life.
