Epson Endeavor MR6700 Desktop

Epson Introduces A New Projector

Epson has introduced a new projector during this year’s FETC event by announcing the PowerLite 83V+. Aimed specifically at education users, this easy-to-use and affordable projector adopts Epson’s latest 3LCD display technology and provides an XGA resolution, 2,200 lumens brightness, 1.2x optical zoom and up to 4,000 hours of lamp life (in economy mode). In addition, it also comes with a built-in 10-watt speaker, a closed captioning decoder to accommodate students with hearing impairments and several connectivity ports including dual VGA, audio-out, monitor-out and RS-232c. Epson hits back with a new nettop PC ‘Endeavor NP12-V’ for the Japanese market. Measuring 74.5mm x 153.5mm x 198.5mm, this space-saving computer integrates a 1.6GHz Intel Atom 230 CPU, SiS672 (integrated video) + SiS968 chipsets, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium OS and is Energy Star 5.0 compliant. Epson has recently rolled out the PictureMate Show PM 300 which not only functions as a regular photo printer, but it also doubles up as a digital photo frame. The PictureMate Show PM 300 can print out full-color 4×6-inch prints and has a 7-inch LCD display with 800×480 pixel resolution. Each purchase comes with a remote controller to provide you with full control of the photos. Epson today announced two new ultra short throw projectors namely the PowerLite 450W and PowerLite 460. The Epson PowerLite 450W features 2,500 lumens brightness with a 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution. Meanwhile, the Epson PowerLite 460 has a brighter 3,000 lumens with a 1,024 x 768 pixels resolution.
