
Transcend has introduced the new addition to its StoreJet external hard drive series. Known as the StoreJet 35T, this compact 3.5-inch drive is available in 1TB and 1.5TB storage capacities and features a USB 2.0 connection interface, a OneTouch auto-backup button and makes use of Transcend’s TurboHDD USB technology for enhanced transfer speeds. In addition, the drive also comes bundled with StoreJet Elite software that offers advanced 256-bit AES file and folder encryption. Seagate rolled out latest FreeAgent Go external hard drives that come in several new colors. I think the company wants to attract holiday shoppers. The hard drives are still available in the same 250GB, 320GB, and 500GB capacities for $120, $150, and $200, respectively. Just remember that for those who register their FreeAgent Go between November 28th and New Year’s day, they will receive a bonus multimedia package including 50 free songs from eMusic and some other kewl goodies.
