Buffalo will launch the world’s first USB 3.0 external hard drive later this month. The Buffalo HD-HU3 USB 3.0 hard drive is currently available in 1TB, 1.5 TB and 2TB storage capacities. It is said to offer a “30-percent faster transfer rate than most USB hard drives.” Additional features include Shock Resistant technology and SecureLockWare preventing unauthorized access if the drive is lost or stolen along with Memeo’s AutoBackup built right in.
