I-O Data BRP-US6 External Blu-ray Burner

I-O Data today unveiled their latest external Blu-ray burner, the BRP-US6, that connects to a notebook through a USB 2.0 interface. Basic specifications include 6x burning for BD-R SL, 2x for BD-R DL/BD-RE and 6x reading with BD-ROM discs. The drive can also burn on DVD-R/+R at 8x, 6x on DVD-RW/+RW and 5x on DVD-RAM discs. Marshal's Latest Ultra Slim External BD Burner

Marshal has launched its slim external BD player for the Japanese market. The Marshal MAL BDP02U2 is not an ordinary BD player. LG XF1 Multimedia Hard Drive

The LG XF1 is the company’s first mobile multimedia hard drive that measures at just 20.8mm thick. The device comes with a 500GB of storage capacity and a codec decoder that only reads exclusively FAT32 and NTFS. It means that the XF1 is not compatible with Mac. There are a composite AV output, a mini-USB jack, and a HDMI connector that enables you to stream HD content straight to your HDTV. Supported video formats include AVI, Xvid and the wide range of MPEGs alongside all popular audio codecs. Sadly, the LG XF1 doesn’t support H.264 and MKV codecs.
