Jon Hicks Sells His Mac G5 For Firefox Fans

Jon Hicks, designer of Firefox, is selling his old Mac G5 on which the Firefox logo was created. This G5 is powered by a 1.6ghz G5 processor with 160GB hard disk drive, 1.5GB of RAM, and Leopard operating system. It also comes with a 17 inch Formac Gallery Display with ADC connector, which means it plugs straight into the G5 without needing an extra plug. He wants to sell his G5 for £250 ($ 500). [Flickr]

Good news for Mozilla Firefox fans. The latest version of Firefox will be released in June 2008. The Firefox 3 AKA Gran Paradiso is claimed to be much more stable than “anything else out there”. This Internet Explorer competitor features enhanced security level and allows users to run websites when they are not connected to the Internet.
