Fitbit has finally rolled out its Personal Fitness Checker for the mass market. Priced at $99 a pop, the device clips to your clothes and monitors your daily activities including distances traveled, exercise intensity, sleep patterns, and calorie consumption. The Fitbit uses a 3D motion sensor to obtain important data and will transmit that data to the wireless base station when you are near it. You can then log on to the Fitbit site in order to see your health progress. In addition, the Fitbit Personal Fitness Checker also has an OLED display for monitoring purposes. Its battery provides enough juice for up to 10 days of operation time. [Fitbit]
