The iHome iD50 is a new app-enhanced alarm clock radio that supports Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming. The gadget features an AM/FM radio, a top-mounted docking station for iOS devices, dual 7/5/2 alarms, a speakerphone with built-in mic and SRS TruBass sound enhancement. Designed for adventures, construction workers and workers in the field, the gadget has a water-resistant AM/FM radio, a rechargeable battery pack, an integrated a 5-inch speaker and an auxiliary port for connecting to external media devices such as Apple’s iPod, a CD player and an MP3 player. Korean gadget manufacturer Idamtec today introduced the BOOM 2 portable boombox. The gadget features an FM radio, an alarm clock and an MP3 player. The Idamtec BOOM 2 also provides a 3.5mm standard audio plug, allowing you to connect the boombox with your laptop, MP3 player and smartphone. Sony Japan has introduced a new fancy gadget namely the Sony SRF-18. It is actually a combination of an FM/AM tuner with a built-in speaker. Measuring 155.4mm x 34.2mm x 80.3mm and weighing 198 grams, the Sony SRF-18 has a couple of 80mW speakers and basic radio recording features. The gadget draws its power from two AA batteries, offering up to 47-hour of continuous listening time.
