Foxconn NT-A3500 Nettop

Foxconn has unveiled the successor to the Atom-powered NT-330i. Dubbed as the NT-A3500, this new nettop is based on AMD’s first Fusion platform (Brazos). Measuring 190mm x 135mm x 25mm and weighing at only 450 grams, the Foxconn NT-A3500 features a 1.6GHz AMD E350 dual core processor with a built-in Radeon HD 6310 (DirectX 11) graphics, a DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM slot supporting up to a 4GB module, a tray for one 2.5-inch SATA drive, a 5-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, two USB 3.0 ports, a DVI and HDMI outputs. Foxconn is preparing to launch two new AMD 890GX-based motherboards for the mass market in the form of the A9DA-S (pictured above) and A9DA. These motherboards support AM3 processors and feature an integrated Radeon HD 4290 graphics card, a 128MB of SidePort DDR3 memory, four DDR3 slots, two PCI-Express x16 slots for CrossFirex or Hybrid CrossFire configurations, a 7.1 channel audio and an upgraded cooling system (A9DA-S). Both motherboards also come with a number of connectivity ports including five SATA 6.0 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet, eSATA, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI, 14 USB, two FireWire (A9DA-S). The Taiwan-based manufacturer Foxconn releases a new barebone desktop PC which is dubbed as the R11S2MI-BA. This computer supports an Intel Atom 230 (MiniITX motherboard), an Intel 945GC chipset, 2GB of DDR2, and CF/SD/MS card slot. Foxconn DLP Projector: Small and Microscopic

Foxconn’s new PD-S2900 DLP projector is about the tiniest of projectors with an SVGA resolution and 55 lumens of brightness. No word on a price just yet, but it should hit Taiwan sometime in the third quarter. [AVING]
