
Fujitsu has announced a new series of all-in-one desktop PC, the DeskPower F. The system is available in two different versions, either with a 23-inch, 1920 x 1080 or 20-inch, 1600 x 900 multi-touch display. Both systems are equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor, a 4GB RAM, up to 1TB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, Windows 7 OS and a choice of either a digital or analog TV tuner. Here’s another space-saving mini PC from Fujitsu, the Esprimo Q1500. Measuring only 5 cm tall and weighing just 1.7 kg, the system is packed inside a box the size of a CD case. Despite all that, the machine still delivers some impressive performances, you’ll find an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 4GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, six USB ports and an HDMI port. What’s more, the machine is also very quiet and energy efficient consuming only 19 Watts of power in idle mode. Fujitsu will use VIA’s Eden ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processor for the upcoming FUTRO S100 thin client. The chip will provide 500MHz of power with a low TDP of just one watt. The Fujitsu FUTRO S100 thin client is designed for server-based computing and virtual workplace solutions and contains no moving parts. Other specs include a 1GB of DDR2 memory, a pair of USB 2.0 connectors, VGA output, Ethernet, a VX800 media processor, Chrome9 HC3 graphics and internal CF-based storage support. The Fujitsu M2010 is the company’s latest netbook that is powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor, a 10.1-inch WSVGA LED backlit display, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, an integrated webcam, Windows XP Home OS, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 3-cell battery. The Fujitsu M2010 Netbook sells for $449. More

Fujitsu has developed a USB memory device technology which is able to erase data from the USB flash drive automatically after a period of time has passed, and a file redirect technology which ensures that the data from the USB memory device can only be stored on a specified server. The combination of these two technologies make it possible for confidential data to be carried anywhere. If the USB memory device is lost, the data on it would be automatically deleted after 24 hours. [Akihabara]

Fujitsu today released two new scanners for both PC and Mac owners. The ScanSnap S1500 and the ScanSnap S1500M (White) are capable of doing 60ppm when scanning black and white documents or 20ppm for color documents. Both models are also able to automatically detect page size, orientation, color setting and whether both sides of the page are printed. The maximum optical resolution currently stands at 600dpi. Both the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500 and ScanSnap S1500M retail for $495 each. [Electronista]

Fujitsu has unveiled its new LifeBook A1120 laptop that comes with exchangeable covers. The notebook offers a 15.6-inch widescreen LCD with an integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics, Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 CPU, up to 4GB RAM, Mobile Intel GM45 Express Chipset, up to 250GB HDD, DVD SuperMulti Dual Layer burner, 1.3MP webcam, WiFi and Bluetooth. The Fujitsu A1120 comes jam packed with a 15.6 inch SuperFine 16:9 HD widescreen TFT display (1366×768 resolution) display screen, Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 processor, 4GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500MHD graphics. Fujitsu has decided to upgraded its LifeBook T5010, T1010, P1630 and T2020 convertible Tablet PCs with AT&T’s BroadbandConnect High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) network support. The HSUPA mobile broadband support adds $150 to the overall cost of the selected Tablet PC configuration.
