Fujitsu introduces the PalmSecure device at CES 2007. This new technology will replace the biometric security that uses fingerprints in the near future. It uses palm vein authentication, offering a security solution that is much harder to forge. You just need to place your palm above the device, and then a special algorithm template will determine whether you are eligible to login or not. The PalmSecure retails for $750 each.

Kenichi Kimura, the Fujitsu’s Chief Designer is the person behind this upcoming LifeBook P7230 laptop PC, which belongs to ultraportable Fujitsu LifeBook 7000 series. Singapore got lucky by having the chance to see this stuff. Hardware Zone confirmed that the P7230 will soon be launched by Fujitsu. If you recall, Kenichi is also the person responsible for designing DJ turntable concept and origami concept notebook. Too bad, there are lack of technical specifications available yet for this laptop.
