Fujitsu is gearing up to drop their newest 3D all-in-one desktop PC ‘Esprimo FH99/CM’ for the Japanese market. Unlike most 3D all-in-one desktop PCs, the Esprimo FH99/CM is able to display in 3D without the need for glasses. The machine itself is equipped with a 23-inch 1920 x 1080 3D display, a 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core processor, an integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics card, a 4GB RAM, up to 2TB hard drive, a webcam, a Blu-ray drive, an SD card slot, a TV tuner, WiFi, an HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. Fujitsu Unveils fi-5950 Production Scanner

Fujitsu has unveiled the new fi-5950 production scanner that offers a critical component to improve scanning efficiency and time-saving tools to increase scanning automation. The scanner features image retaining function, virtual ReScan (VRS) software and hardware equipped, improved start-up times, ultra-fast scanning speeds with high quality image processing and automatic image quality checker. This ENERGY STAR and RoHS compliant scanner also supports additional enhancing software, a USB 2.0 port, optional pre and post scan imprinters and 500 page input tray. Fujitsu has released Japan’s Next-Generation Supercomputer, nicknamed the K computer. The Fujitsu supercomputer is a central part of the High-Performance Computing Infrastructure (HPCI) initiative led by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The supercomputer system consists of more than 800 computer racks, each installed with ultrafast CPUs, in a massively interconnected network, crystallizing Fujitsu’s leading-edge technologies for high performance and high reliability. Fujitsu ETERNUS LT20, LT40 And LT60 Tape Libraries

The Fujitsu ETERNUS LT20, LT40 and LT60 tape libraries come equipped with the next generation of LTO tape drives, the LTO-5. The new technology is expected to cut down spending on media at around 63 percent. The LTO-5 provides up to 3TB of storage capacity and reduces the number of tapes needed in total. In terms of security, the LTO-5 drives help address compliance requirements with its WORM (Write Once, Read Many) and encryption capability. Fujitsu today announced the launch of a new electronic paper-based outpatient guidance solution, which is designed to be used during the check-in process at medical facilities such as hospitals and clinics. The device is based on the e-paper technology, wireless technology and IC-card. The Fujitsu electronic card holders will be available from February 2011. [FarEastGizmos]

Fujitsu's Self-destruct USB Flash Drive

Fujitsu Japan has finally launched the USB flash drive that can destruct stored data automatically within a given time frame (you can choose any time limits from 10 minutes to one week). Dubbed as the Tamatebako, the device will delete the stored data when the drive’s being accessed with the wrong password. The Fujitsu Tamatebako also encrypts data via AES 256bit. For your info, the “Tamatebako” literally means “treasure box” in Japanese. Measuring 70mm x 70mm x 24mm and weighing at around 45grams, the gadget comes with a 2GB of storage space (1.86GB are actually usable). Too bad, there is no info on pricing at this time. Available in matte red or matte black, this 14-inch laptop features a 2.1GHz AMD Athlon II P320 dual-core processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 graphics that supports DirectX 11. Japanese mobile operator NTT DoCoMo has introduced the new Fujitsu F-06B that features a 13.2MP camera with LED flash and video recording with Full HD format (1920×1080 pixels). Available in dark blue, black and white, the handset comes with a water-resistant casing, a LED flash and a maximum ISO sensitivity of 25600. The Fujitsu F-06B also has a unique rotary screen, a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480×854 pixel, GPS, front camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a microSD card slot. The Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 is actually the smallest Fujitsu multi-page duplex scanner. The gadget scans up to 10 pages via the document feeder, at the maximum speed of 8 pages per minute in double-sided mode. It can automatically convert scanned data into PDF files at the touch of a button. The S1300 automatically recognizes the size of each document, detects and corrects for skew, and shows images in their proper orientation with blank pages removed.
