
Hyundai has added two new Full HD Monitors to its range in the form of the V226Wa and V236Wd. These widescreen monitors provide a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 5ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The main differences between the two LCDs are: the V226Wa only comes with 1W speakers and a D-Sub connector, while the V236Wd offers 1.5W speakers and both D-Sub and DVI ports. Dell is back with its latest full HD widescreen monitor known as the ST2210. This 21.5-inch monitor provides a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 5ms response time, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness. Delta Electronics have announced their first full HD LED-based DLP projector, and is showing demo unit during IFA and upcoming CEDIA. The projector will feature 1080p resolution, large color gamut, and 20,000 hours on the LED unit. It will utilize PhlatLight rather than metal halide bulbs, which Delta claims to be more robust with extended lifetime.
