
G.Skill today introduced the new RipjawsZ 64GB DDR3 2400MHz Quad-Channel memory kit. Designed for professionals, the memory kit is compatible with Intel’s Sandy Bridge-E processors. The kit consists of eight 8GB modules that deliver a total of 64GB of system memory. These memory modules are designed to run at DDR3 2400MHz speeds using CL10 timings. Here’s the newest addition to G.Skill’s SSD line-up, the Phoenix Evo. Coming in 115GB capacity, this 2.5-inch SSD sports the latest SandForce SF-1222 controller, 2xnm NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface and is capable of providing read and write speeds of up to 280MB/s and 270MB/s, respectively. G.Skill today introduced its brand new RipjawsX series memory modules, which is designed specifically for the Sandy bridge collection of Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 central processing units. The new RipjawsX series consists of a myriad of products, with capacities of 4GB or 8GB, even 16GB, and frequencies of 1,333MHz to 2,300MHz. All modules are equipped with red, blue or black-colored heatspreaders and some of them are bundled with a fan, for extra cooling. Combined with the Sandy Bridge platform, the new G.Skill RipjawsX series memory kits offer more bandwidth and performance than ever. G.Skill has officially released the Phoenix Pro series of solid state drive that is available in 40GB, 80GB, and 160GB of storage capacities. What makes the G.Skill Phoenix Pro SSD interesting is that it features SandForce SF-1200 SSD controller, delivering amazing performance. G.Skill reports that its newest SSD is able to deliver performance in 4k random write speed up to 50,000 IOPS. Too bad, there is no info on pricing so far. [PCLaunches]

Skill has just unveiled a new RAM Kit with 48GB of memory in 12 4GB modules. It was created specifically for the high end EVGA Super Record 2 Mainboard which has dual Intel Xeon CPU sockets. Some European online stores have begun taking pre-orders for G.Skill’s upcoming SandForce-based SSDs, the Phoenix. Announced back in March, at CeBIT 2010, these high performance SSDs are equipped with the latest SandForce SF-1200 controller, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, an MTBF of 1.5 million hours and capable of providing read and write speeds of up to 280MB/s and 270MB/s, respectively. Here’s the latest addition to G.Skill’s SSD line-up, the Falcon II. Available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB sizes, these 2.5-inch drives are based on 34nm NAND flash memory chips and provide read/write speeds of up to 220/110 MB/s for the 64GB model or 220/150 MB/s for both 128GB and 256GB models. These drives also feature a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, Indilinx’s new ECO controller, a 64MB of cache memory, a MTBF of 1.5 million hours and support for Windows 7′s TRIM command.
