Priced at a hefty $400, EDGE Tech Corp’s DiskGO sports data transfer rate of up to 480Mb/s. The USB flash drive comes bundled with a free preview of CryptArchiver encryption software, which ciphers up to 25MB of data at 128-bit AES encryption. A full version of this software enables users to encrypt up to 20GB of data stored in the flash drive.

Panasonic BM-ET200 is a new eye scanner that boasts voice activation while identifying a user in just 0.3 seconds. Priced at approximately below $2,500 when released in the US next year, the device can handle more than 10,000 user records. The device fires a harmful laser into the eye while the user aligns the eye with the camera by directly focusing on a green light.

Datacolor New Spyder3 Calibration Products Series

Datacolor is known as the leader in the digital imaging world. The firm has released its new Spyder3 Calibration Products series which improves the performance standards for creative professionals and photographers. In case you didn’t know, the Spyder3 series features a unique colorimeter that offers a seven detector color engine, with an aperture several times larger than other devices. The Spyder3 suite features a new proofing capability called SpyderProof for color control and evolution of calibration of thematic photos especially saturated colors, skin tones and gradients. It also includes an embedded ambient light detector with a desktop cradle that doubles as a tripod mount and high-precision sensors to increase light sensitivity by 400 percent. The firm will display the Spyder3Elite and Spyder3Studio for the first time at the PhotoPlus Expo, beginning October 18th at the Jacob Javitz Center in New York.

SanDisk comes back with a new 8GB SDHC (SD High Capacity) flash card dubbed the SanDisk Extreme III. The card will be bundled with a USB reader and will retail for $180 in the States. People in Europe will be able to get their hands on this flash card a bit later.

Besides the JetFlash T3, Transcend also introduced the JetFlash V90C, which is a stylish key-chain flash drive with 4GB capacity. The flash drive is “designed for business travelers and people who need to carry data effortlessly while on the move.” No word on pricing or availability so far.

Transcend JetFlash T3 USB Flash Drive

The JetFlash T3 is an “ultra-tiny” flash drive that is designed to be extra-rugged. Measuring 30.2mm x 12.3mm x 2.4mm, the device uses a special COB (Chip On Board) manufacturing technique that “molds the memory chip and circuit board into the drive’s unbreakable Polycarbonate casing.” The t3 is currently available in 1GB and 2GB storage capacities.

The TomTom ONE XL-S is a variant of the recently released TomTom ONE XL. The gadget is currently available for pre-order on Amazon. It is the high end of TomTom’s ONE line of basic portable GPS navigators. The XL-S offers text-to-speech functionality and map share technology allowing users to make changes to the map and share these corrections with other TomTom users. Priced at $400, this new navigation gadget also provides maps of U.S. and Canada.

Acer Ferrari Racing GPS Navigation Gadget

Acer has finally unveiled more details of their latest Ferrari Racing handheld GPS device. The Acer Ferrari Racing GPS handheld comes with navigation capabilities integrating SiRF Star III GPS receiver and the ALK CoPilot navigation software. It is powered by a Windows Mobile Office suite, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection and has a 2.8 inch touch screen display. The gadget also comes bundled with a 1 or 2 GB SD card, a unique Ferrari car cradle and car charger, and European maps on DVD. All the maps are provided by NAVTEQ.

Taiwanese Mio introduced their new GPS navigation gadget called Mio A502, which is a successor of the Mio A501. The new A502 features Windows Mobile 6 operating system and sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 (with A2DP)1 GB of ROM, and USB 2.0. This navigation gadget also comes equipped with MioMap navigation software, windshield mounting kit, and a car charger. However, there is no word on pricing or availability so far. FujiFilm F480 Digital Camera

The FujiFilm F480 is the company’s latest 8MP shooter that comes jam packed with 28mm wide-angle Fuji dragon lens with 4x optical zoom and 2.7 inch ultra LCD display. The camera utilities a special purpose lithium battery NP-40N for longer life and also supports XD/SD/SDHC memory cards for storage. It also has the photo sensitiveness equal to ISO800. The FujiFilm F480 retails for around $180(after conversion).
