Gateway hits back by dropping three new LED-backlit monitors namely the 21.5-inch FHX2152L, 23-inch FHD2303L and 24-inch FHX2402L. These widescreen monitors provide 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 2ms (FHX models) or 5ms (FHD) response time. In terms of connectivity ports, they offer D-Sub, DVI as well as HDMI (23-inch and 24-inch models). Gateway has decided to upgrade the 23-inch ZX6900 touchscreen all-in-one PC with a more powerful processor. The new ZX6900 uses a 2.93GHz Intel Core i3 dual-core processor, or you can also choose a faster 3.2GHz Intel Core i5 processor. Other features include a built-in Intel graphics, a 4GB RAM, a 640GB hard drive and a 4X Blu-ray combo drive. The Gateway ZX6900 will be released in the first week of June 2010 for $1,020 upwards. Gateway will launch two new all-in-one PCs namely the Gateway One ZX6800 and ZX4800. The ZX6800 is powered by a 23-inch 1920 x 1080, an Intel Core 2 Quad 2.33GHz CPU with an 8GB of RAM, a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 graphics, a 1TB hard-drive and a 64GB SSD for apps and OS. The computer also supports WiFi b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, a DVD burner, eSATA port, a hybrid TV tuner, and 5.1 surround sound outputs. Meanwhile, the cheaper ZX4800 features a 20-inch 1,600 x 900 display, a 2.1GHz Pentium Dual Core CPU with a 4GB of RAM, an Intel GMA X4500HD graphics, a 750GB hard-drive and the same connectivity of its faster sibling. Taiwan site PCADV has reportedly said that Gateway is preparing to release a rebranded version of Acer’s Ion-powered nettop, the Acer AspireRevo. Dubbed as the QX2800, this mini-desktop adopts a 1.6GHz Intel Atom 330 dual core processor and a NVIDIA Ion 9400M graphics chipset. Other specs include a 500GB Hard drive, a 4-in-1 card reader, WiFi, an HDMI output, six USB 2.0 ports and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment. Gateway has finally released the LT2000 10.1-inch netbook that comes jam packed with a 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, a LED-backlit 1,024 x 600 resolution display, a 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB 5400RPM hard drive, an Intel GMA950 graphics set, a card reader, a built-in webcam, twin stereo speakers, a trio of USB 2.0 sockets, and a three-cell battery. Gateway has recently introduced a new notebook series intended for the back-to-school audience. The NV series has a minimalist and glossy design with touch-sensitive shortcut keys. Priced at around $500, the basic model features a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display, a 2.1GHz Athlon 64 X2 CPU, a 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive and an integrated-level Radeon HD 3200 for graphics. The Gateway’s latest Timeline netbook is now available for purchase. The mini-laptop is powered by a 1.2GHz Athlon 64 L110 processor with an integrated ATI Radeon X1270 graphics card, a WXGA resolution display, a 2GB RAM and a 250GB HDD. Other features include a memory card reader, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g connectivity, an integrated webcam, three USB 2.0 ports and a 6-cell Li-ion battery.
