If you don’t get enough sleep and tend to fall asleep during work, then you might need the Wink Glasses. It is a USB powered gadget that clips onto your spectacles when using the computer to make sure that you do not slip into silent slumber. This is how the gadget works. The glasses detect the number of times you blink, and if you don’t blink every five seconds then the gadget begins to fog up around your eyes until you perform the recommended number of blinks. It will keep you awake and alert while computing for hours. The Wink Glasses will be available in Japan early next month for an unknown price tag. [Product Page]

Spy glasses are classic. How about building a set of your own for under $40 the kit contains a micro camera $18 and a $20 pair of Solar Shield shades. You then connect the camera to a MiniDV camcorder. Looks like an interesting idea, but not sure if it’s really for sale.
