Apple launches its GPS device called the ‘loco GPS’ for the iPhone which is linked with Google Map software and based on SiRF Star III chip, the loco GPS will be available in February 2008 for $89.

Blusens has released Two new GPS navigators (the G01 and G02) featuring google satellite maps.The G01 features a 4.3-inch touchscreen, a 30GB hard drive, SD / MMC card support,video, audio, and still image playback. The G02 is similar,except it features a 40GB hard drive and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support. The G01 will be out in November for $992, and the G02 is dropping sometime in early 2008.
China is proud to present to us their new Ai Li Xin called the 8108 which serves as both a gps device as well as cellphone. It comes with such features as a 1.8 inch outside display screen, 3.0 inch inner display screen, 1GB built-in memory, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and a microSD slot, you get a navigation keys as well, along with music keys and speaker. BlueNavi is a Korean brand of a 2-in-1 gadget.It’s not just a portable multimedia player ,it also functions as a GPS device. The BlueNavi is known for its 4.3 inch TFT LCD touch screen. It also features a USB 2.0 port for media downloading, an SD slot and a GPS antenna. It’s still unknown whether it’s availble outside of Korea, but either way, it’s sure to sell like hotcakes.
Mio has released their C620 GPS Mio C620 with limited 3G graphics to display terrain elevation and landmarks, etc., with the help of the new MioMap 2008 software. Talk about the ultimate navigation system. Now you can see everything including famous mountains to the Grand Canyon!
Viliv has announced the release and price of the X7 GPS navigation with DMB from Korea. We showed you this GPS system, which features a DMB receiver enabling you to watch digitally broadcast channels in addition GPS navigation with 3D graphics, 7-inch screen with 800×480 resolution, supported touch screen operation, 4GB of storage space, standard DVD/DivX port, karaoke capability, multimedia player, and support for a rear view camera. $540.
The Infinity miPC ain’t half bad. It’s a UMPC without a keyboard but doesn’t lack much else. It not only plays music and video but also records it, has a built-in FM tuner, supports DivX and XviD, and functions as a GPS system when its docked. If you need to get work done on the go, the miPC offers a mobile Microsoft Office, it can handle VoIP, Email, browsing and IM. It comes with Tele Atlas navigation software, which includes maps of the US and Canada with text-to-voice directions. It features a 4.3 inch touchscreen, SD slot, 30GB HDD, 128MB of RAM and connectivity via USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0 and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi. That’s what we know about it now, price not available yet, though it’s going to release soon.
TomTom has created a device that cooperates with your TomTom GPS device gives you the ability to select and read orders, exchange text messages with the head office, register working time/breaks, report any status information back to the office. You’ll be able to keep your cool in the office day in and day out. There is no pricing or availability info at this time, however, it has been approved by the FCC so it should drop fairly soon.
