Samsung’s SCH-V960 is believed to be the world’s first cellphone with an optical joystick. What exactly is the “optical joystick”?
Well, with this technology, feel free to slide your finger on the sensor and the cursor moves just as you please on the screen. You could also click on the icons, just as easy as you’re using your laptop touch pad.
This handset boasts a 2MP shooter, Bluetooth and GPS capabilities, plus it has a light sensor to adjust the screen brightness according to ambient lighting conditions, and that means more battery life preserved (Amen for that!). This slide phone will be available in Korea later this month. More pics after the jump!
