China’s Haier has unveiled a new Android tablet namely the HaiPad. Powered by the Google Android 2.2 OS, the 7-inch tablet has the ability to make phone calls. The HaiPad features an 800MHz Freescale iMX515 A8 processor, 3G, Wi-Fi and dual cameras. Available in red, black, green, blue and yellow, the Haier HaiPad will be launched in August 2011 for 3,299RMB(around $500). [Sina]
If you are searching for a cheaper alternative compared to Apple’s product line, then check out the new PMP from Haier. The Ibiza Theatre touchscreen portable media player features a 2.4 inch 320 x 240 resolution display with Bluetooth connectivity, integrated FM tuner, microSD memory card slot, and supports for Real’s Rhapsody to Go service. The gadget is compatible with MP3, WMA, AVI and MPEG-4 file formats. Sadly, it lacks of Wi-Fi connectivity. Its battery promises a 30-hour of battery life. Haier has unveiled its new 17.1 inch G70 “Transformer” Santa Rosa-based notebook at KES 2007. The desktop replacement features the Autobot decal on its front cover. Weighing 3.95kg, the laptop boasts an Intel 965PM + ICH8M chipset and powered by Nvidia’s GeForce Go 7950 GTX 256M DDR III video card, a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive and 1.3MP webcam. Other features include an expandable RAM for up to 4GB, fingerprint recognition and Bluetooth connectivity.

Haier has created a Transformers themed G70 laptop running on Intel’s PM965 chipset, and featuring a 1920 x 1200 pixel 17-inch display, 2GB of RAM, a 120GB Hard Disk, and a GeForce Go 7950GTX with 512MB of VRAM. Good news though, you don’t have to worry about this one transforming and shooting an endless supply of tiny missiles at you. Moreover, the Autobot logo won’t guarantee protection from Windows crashing on you either. Pricing and availability info have not been announced yet.
Haier T31G launched a 13.3-inch widescreen laptop in Korea market. The laptop offers 1.73GHz Intel Core Duo processor T2250 (2MB L2 cache/533 FSB), 128MB nVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 graphic chipset, 512MB DDR2 533 memory, S-ATA 80GB hard disk, and 1.3MP webcam. Pricing info is still in a mystery.
HAIER introduced their two new laptops in Korea, the T31G and W18. The HAIER T31G comes equipped with 13.3 inches WXGA widescreen (16:10), GeForce FO 7400 with 128MB of VRAM, 1.73Ghz Core 2 Duo T2250 CPU, 512MB RAM, an 80GB HDD, 1.3MP webcam and DVD/CD-R combo. The HAIER W18 features 12.1 inches screen with the same graphic card, Core 2 Duo T2250, 512MB for the RAM, 120GB SATA HDD and the DVD/CD-R combo. The pricing of these laptops are still unknown.

Haier Elegance is a compact Tri-Band GSM plus MP3 player that features FM Stereo tuner, Stereo BlueTooth Transmitter, Voice Recorder, and full color OLED display with some delightful 3-D graphics. Haier Elegance is currently available in two versions. The YMP-3190 works on 900/1800/1900 Mhz, while the YMP-3850 works on 850/1900 Mhz. Haier America costs $299.95.
