
Toshiba is ready to release the STOR.E PARTNER portable HDD series in the European market. The device supports the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology and offers up to 1TB of storage space. The Toshiba STOR.E PARTNER comes bundled with the Nero BackItUp and Burn Essentials software that allows you to automate and schedule backups, restore lost, damaged or deleted data. Toshiba Europe today introduced the new STOR.E TV 2 multimedia hard drive. Available up to 2TB of storage space, the STOR.E TV 2 allows you to enjoy photos, videos and music in the comfort of your sofa by simply connecting the device to a TV. When a camcorder is connected via USB to STOR.E TV 2, content can be streamed from the camcorder directly to the TV without the need of a computer. Seagate today introduced the GoFlex Turbo External USB 3.0 HDD with SafetyNet data recovery services (DRS). SafetyNet data recovery is the first recovery service offering by a hard drive manufacturer to be included as part of the purchase price of an external drive. With the latest super speed USB 3.0 interface and RPMs clocked at 7200, the GoFlex Turbo drive is equipped to handle transfer speeds up to 40% faster than that of its USB 2.0, 5400-RPM siblings. Iomega today released the new Mac Companion Hard Drive. Available in 2TB or 3TB of storage capacity, this storage device features a high-powered 2.1 Amp USB charging port designed specifically for charging iPad, iPhone, or iPod. Samsung Electronics will launch its new family of hard disk drives, including two portable drives and a desktop storage station.
