Epson today introduced five new members from its PowerLite Pro Z-series projectors, the Z8450WUNL, Z8455WUNL, Z8350WNL, Z8250NL and Z8255NL. The Epson PowerLite Pro Z-series projector line is designed for corporate, higher education, house of worship, rental and staging, museum, and digital signage applications. The Z8450WUNL and Z8455WUNL produce a WUXGA 1920×1200 resolution with a 7000 lumens of brightness. The Z8350WNL features a WXGA 1280×768 resolution with a 8500 lumens brightness. And finally, the Z8250NL and Z8255NL offer a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution with a 10,000 lumens of brightness. The Epson PowerLite Pro Z8450WUINL and Z8455WUNL will be released in February 2012, while the PowerLite Pro Z8250NL and Z8255NL will be available in April 2012. Sony has announced the BRAVIA HX850 LED LCD HDTV. Available in 46-inch and 55-inch, the BRAVIA HX850 features a 1080p full HD resolution in both 2D and 3D, a frameless Monolithinc Design with Corning Gorilla Glass for durability and a 240Hz refresh rate to reduce the blurring caused during high-speed action and sports sequences. The display features Samsung’s Plane Line Switching (PLS) panel technology, offering a quad high-definition resolution of 2560 x 1440. NICT has collaborated with JVC Kenwood to create a huge 200-inch auto-stereoscopic Full HD 3D display. What makes this giant 3D display interesting is that it can display 3D videos from 57 different angles without 3D glasses. Weighing 500kg, the display also features a condenser lens and a special diffuser film. The condenser lens allows the light to be focused to create a sharp image, while the special diffuser film creates a smooth transition between the different viewing angles.
