Viewsonic today released the VMP70 1080p digital media player that allows you to share any digital collection of movies and video that are stored on your computer to any home entertainment system. Chinese gadget manufacturer Eston will launch a new MID (Mobile Internet Device) known as the N97. The gadget supports a wide range of video formats including MPG, WMV, AVI, 3GP and MP4. The Eston N97 is powered by a Marvell PXA303 processor with a 7-inch TFT LED touchscreen display, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, a Li-ion battery and up to 4-hours of battery life. Mitsubishi Electric today announced the LPV-HC3800 for the Japanese market. The projector features the latest in DLP display technology and can display full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 1200 ANSI lumens, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The Mitsubishi LVP-HC3800 also uses an extra long lasting 230W lamp that can run for 5000-hours. The LVP-HC3800 will be launched at the end of the month in Japan for 200000 Yen ($2238). You can now pre-order the Sony VAIO L all-in-one PC with a 24-inch 1080p LCD display. The computer is powered by a 2.7GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core CPU, an nVidia GeForce G210M graphics, a 4GB of RAM, a 320GB display and a DVD burner. The Sony VAIO L is also available in a higher-end model that comes equipped with a 2.66GHz Core 2 Quad processor, a 1TB of storage, a Blu-Ray drive, and an integrated ATSC tuner. The latest 23-inch full HD monitor from Mitsubishi Electric comes in the form of the RDT231WLM-S. The monitor provides a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with a 5ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio (5000:1 in dynamic mode), and a 300cd/m2 of brightness level. Seagate has rolled out a new HD media player, which is designed to be used with Seagate FreeAgent Go portable hard drives. Known as the Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ HD, the device can be connected to your HDTV via HDMI port. The HD media player provides full HD video at 1080p with DTS 2.0 + Digital Out, or Dolby Digital technology. The interface is easily navigated with the included remote control, and you can choose from video, photos or music with the up/down arrows on the remote to make your selection. The Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ HD is currently available for $150 without a hard drive, or bundled with a 500GB FreeAgent Go drive for $290. Chinese manufacturer Spark has rolled out a new hard drive media player that looks like a huge egg. Dubbed as the VTube, the gadget has a 2.5-inch hard drive and plays most of video files including DAT, MPG, VOB, TS, AVI, DIVX and XVID. Measuring 212mm x 150mm x 56mm, the VTube also has a USB2.0 port, an AV port, a HDMI port, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The VTube HD hard drive media player is priced at 899 Yuan or equal to $132.
