
You can now pre-order the second generation Vado HD pocket camcorder from Creative. The gadget comes with new Vado Central for Mac OS X, which will feature video transferring and direct to iMovie importing of Vado videos. The new Vado Central will be available for download in early September and is compatible with all previous Vado and Vado HD models. The second generation of Vado HD is available in two new color combinations, a 4GB glossy white with green accents, which holds up to 60 minutes of video and an 8GB glossy black with red accents, which holds up to 120 minutes of video. The HDP1100 and the HDP1200 are two HD projectors from Knoll Systems that can be used right out of the box without having first to mess around with its settings, and they are the HDP1100 and the HDP1200. The former comes with a short throw lens, meanwhile the latter has a long-throw lens. Both projectors are designed from the ground up by Kevin Knoll and the Knoll System’s team. Features of the HDP1100 and the HDP1200 include a native resolution of 1920 X 1080, a 950 ANSI lumens, and a 4400:1 contrast ratio. XFX has rolled out its latest AGP-based graphics card, the Radeon HD 4650 (codenamed HD-465X-ZPFR). Sharp has rolled out the LE600 and LE700 LED TV series. The former comes in 32-inch, 40-inch and 46-inch models, meanwhile the latter has all those plus the added advantage of a 52-inch model. Both the LE600 and LE70 series feature Full HD resolution, LED backlights, a contrast ratio of 4,000:1, Sharp’s “X-Gen Panel” with its proprietary “Mega Contrast” and “Brilliant colour Processor” technology. The Sharp LE700 is better than the LE600 because it has a quick 4ms response time, four HDMI ports, and a USB port that allows playback of MP3 and JPEG files directly from a USB Flash drive. This 27-inch monitor supports a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, a 5ms On/Off response times (typical), a 3ms Gray to Gray response times, a 400 nits brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 30,000 dynamic contrast ratio, and a 92% color gamut.
