The LG W2243T is a new 21.5-inch entry-level Full HD LCD with LED backlight. The screen features DVI (HDCP) and D-Sub ports, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 30000:1 dynamic ratio, a brightness level of 300cd/m2 and a view angle of 160/170 degrees. JVC will release its new 42-inch Full HD LCD display next month, which is specially made for imaging professionals who require high resolution LCD displays. The JVC LT-42WX70 is able to reproduce a higher range of colors that most displays can give. It will display 100% of sRGB, and 96% of Adobe RGB. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing so far. Bella Corporation today introduced a new wireless HD Mouse that is designed for video editing tasks. The mouse comes with a software that allows professional video editors to program mouse movements to specific video functions. The Itoos T68HD is a new HD PMP from a Chinese manufacturer that features a large 4.3 inch LCD (800×480) with 8GB of internal memory. Samsung Electronics today released a new 55-inch LED TV in the form of the UN55B7100. Priced at US$3,799.99, this Full HD TV comes with 120Hz technology that eliminates motion blur and creates smooth transitions between frames. It is also environment friendly since it uses up to 40% less power than conventional LCD TVs, and 100% mercury- and lead-free. Sharp today released three new eco-friendly AQUOS LCD TVs that are available in a 40 inch, 42 inch and 52 inch models. The new AQUOS offers 15000:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 450cd/m2. The company has successfully reduced their power consumption with an improved Backlight and overall power consumption system capable to bring to 175kWh/Year for the 52 inch, 145kWh/Year for the 46 inch, and only 120kWh/Year for the 40 inch model. The 40 inch model is priced at 200 000 Yen (€153), the 46 inch for 260 000 Yen (€1995), and the 52 inch for 390 000 Yen (€3990). [Sharp]
