LG just released its latest LH 80 series of LCD TVs that is currently available in 42-inch, 47-inch and 55-inch models. These LCD TVs feature Full HD wireless capability thanks to a newly developed “Media Box” that also includes the LCD TV tuner, HDMI hub, and a USB port to access JPEG and DIVX video stored on a portable hard drive or flash disk. Onkyo today announced the TX-SA607 and TX-SA507 AV amplifiers for the Japanese market. The TX-SA607 is a 120watts x 7 channels AV amplifier that is compatible with Dolby NRs True HD, DTS-HD, and Dolby NR professional logic IIz. Meanwhile, the TX-SA507 is a simple 100watts x 5 channels AV amplifier with only 4 1.3a HDMI input port, and does not support Dolby NR professional logic IIz. No info on pricing at this time. Mitsubishi is trying to dominate the HDTV market by releasing the Unisen range of HDTVs, that consists of the 151 Series (40 inch, 46 inch and 52 inch), the 153 Series (40 inch, 46 inch and 52 inch) and the high-end Diamond 259 Series (46 inch and 52 inch). All of these new HDTVs feature Plush1080p 5G 18-bit digital video processing, USB 2.0 media port, Wired IR input, four HDMI 1.3a inputs, 120Hz Film Motion technology, integrated 5.1-channel 16-speaker audio bar, and UltraThin Frame design.
