BenQ has recently released its new projector Dual Lamp SP920 DLP. It has a brightness of 6000 Lumens, a contrast ratio of 2000: 1. This projector is also equipped with an HDMI 1.3 port. No word on pricing so far. [Akihabara]

Samsung will be upgrading their 82-inch QuadHD LCD with 120Hz motion processing and LED backlighting along with a 3840×2160 resolution. Samsung will also have an 82-inch ultra high definition e-Board in its SID 2008 booth. No word on the price or whether it’ll be available Stateside or not. [TV Snob]
Mitsubishi has done it again with the new XD211U DLP projector. The XD211U features a 1,024 x 768 and brightness of 2,200-lumens along with a new DDP 2230 TI microarray, and a theft-deterrent security hook. The XD211U is going for $1595 and is perfect for the classroom or office. [About Projectors]
Envision has released a new 42-inch , 1080p LCD tv called the L42H761. Itfeatures a 1080p panel, twin HDMI ports, S/PDIF digital audio out, a PC input (with audio), digital ATSC / ClearQAM tuner, 172-degree viewing angles, 3-D comb filter and “color enhancement / noise reduction features. Digital Canvas is launching 3 new flat panels in 34-, 43- or 52-inch models with PC components. Each one has a 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 120GB hard drive, WiFi module, a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution panel and a string across the b!ack for picture frame hanging. Projection Design has now shipped the world’s first DLP projector. It features a WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) display, supports 1080p content, 4:3 formats, DLP .95 chip and 2x 300W UHP lamps, 2,000 hours of life at full power as well as inputs for DVI, HDMI 1.3a, VGA, and component. No word on the pricing, but considering it’s the World’s First DLP, it’s a bit pricey. [Engadget]
Sanyo will be offering two new projectors to the Japanese market called the LP-XC55 and LP-XC50. Both feature white exteriors, a 7-watt internal speaker, 1,024 x 768 resolution, a security bar enabling extra thick cabling and the Active Maintenance Filter system for easy maintenance so the filter will last longer between changes and “automatically senses when airflow is interfered by dust changing the cartridge to the new filter. The only difference between the two is the 3,100 ANSI lumens (XC55) / 2,600 ANSI lumens (XC50) and the Â¥365,400 ($3,529) / Â¥312,900 ($3,022) prices. [About Projectors]
