NEC has unveiled their new mobile projectors, the NP100 and NP200. These projectors sports a contrast ratio of 1,300 to 1, monitor output, VGA, S-Video and composite video/audio inputs and an aspect ratio of 4:3 and 16:9. The NP100 has only SVGA (800×600) resolution, while the NP200 offers XGA (1024×768) resolution for computers and other high-resolution sources. The IN83 features a DarkChip4 DLP chip, 5,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,600 ANSI lumens, HDMI 1.3, Pixelworks DNX 10-bit video processing and 2.35:1 Cinemascope / widescreen aspect ratio support.
