Sony has introduced three new headphones in the form of the MDR-XB1000, MDR-XB41EX and MDR-XB21EX. The Sony MDR-XB1000 is a high-end overhead headphones that feature a couple of 70mm dynamic-type driver units with soft and comfortable padding, a 24-Ohm impedance, a 106dB/mW output sound pressure and a 2-30,000Hz frequency response. The Sony MDR-XB41EX and MDR-XB21EX in-ear headphones come equipped with a 13.5mm and a 9mm driver unit, respectively. Both models also have a 16-Ohm impedance and a 105dB/mW sound pressure for the Sony MDR-XB41EX and a 103dB/mW sound pressure for the Sony MDR-XB21EX. [Sony]
Panasonic will launch two new overhead headphones in Japan. Dubbed as the RP-HX300 and RP-HX200, both models feature a new stylish design and made to be as light as possible. The Panasonic RP-HX300 weights at 99 grams and provides an impedance of 32-Ohm, a sensitivity of 116cB/mW and a couple of 35mm driver units.
