
That’s correct, the Emotiv EPOC is a headset that controls video games with your mind. It recognizes over 30 expressions, emotions, and actions. The game itself is trivial compared to the technology and its implications. Plantonics will release a pretty sturdy bluetooth set called the Explorer 370. It comes with 7 hours of talktime and 8 days on standby and is water/dust/shock-resistant as well as “windscreen technology†which filters out noise no matter where you are and QuickPair for smooth pairing your phone. The Explorer 370 will drop in March for $79.
