
Hitachi has showed off their latest internal HDD, the Deskstar 7K4000. Coming in 4TB capacity, this 3.5-inch HDD is equipped with 64MB of buffer memory, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, 7200RPM spindle speed and capable of delivering a maximum media transfer rate of 1,638MB/s. The Deskstar 7K4000 will start shipping this month for unannounced price yet. [Hitachi]

Hitachi is bringing you their newest line of 2.5-inch internal HDDs, the Ultrastar C10K900. Available in 300GB, 450GB, 600GB and 900GB capacities, these high-performance HDDs are equipped with a 64MB of cache memory, a SAS 6.0 Gbps interface, a 10,000RPM spindle speed and promise to deliver a maximum data transfer rate of 2,105MB/s (recording media). The new Hitachi Deskstar 4TB internal HDD has made its way to retail outlets in Japan. The storage device runs at 5900rpm and supports a 6Gb/s SATA 3.0 interface. Unfortunately, there is no info on when the Hitachi Deskstar 4TB internal HDD will be available in the US market. Hitachi has started shipping their newest 3LCD projector ‘CP-RX94′ in the US via Tech On Web online shop. Aimed at business market, this new projector provides 1024 x 768 native resolution, 2600 ANSI lumens brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio and up to 3,000 hours of 215W UHP lamp life. The Hitachi G-RAID external hard disk drive is designed specifically for Mac users. Available in storage capacities up to 6TB, the G-RAID supports high-speed interfaces such as 3Gbit eSATA, FireWire 800 (FireWire 400 via cable) and USB 2.0 ports. When connected via eSATA, this storage device provides data transfers rates of up to 200MB/second. The 4TB and 6TB models are not supported by Windows XP or older 32-bit operating systems which limit maximum volume size to 2TB. Hitachi will release three new wireless 3LCD projectors in the US market, the CP-WX3014WN, CP-X3014WN and CP-X4014WN. These projectors provide networking capability, allowing them to be remotely controlled via a LAN network connection. Hitachi’s exclusive PJMan Projector Management software gives users the ability to operate and monitor these projectors from a remote location, and receive diagnostic information such as remaining lamp life. The Hitachi CP-WX3014WN offers a native WXGA resolution with a 3,000 lumens brightness, while the Hitachi CP-X3014WN has a XGA resolution and a 3,200 lumens brightness. And finally, the Hitachi CP-X4014WN comes with an XGA resolution and a 4,000 lumens brightness. All three projectors deliver an improved 3,000:1 contrast ratio. No word on pricing at this moment. Hitachi today unveiled the Ultrastar SSD400M Solid State Drive, which makes use of Intel 25nm MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory chips and features a SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) 6.0 Gbps interface. Designed for enterprise users, this storage device has a 2.5-inch form factor and a MTBF of 2 million hours. It provides sequential read/write speeds of 495/385 MB/s and delivers up to 56,000 read, as well as 24,000 sustained write IOPS. The iPJ-AW250N comes bundled with software for teaching users how to build interactive presentations, and tools for building those presentations. Hitachi is back with two new super-short focus projectors namely the CP-A300NJ and CP-AW250NJ. Based on the company’s first generation super-short focus projector the CP-A100J, these new models are capable to project up to 80-inch image in only 23cm away from the screen. The Hitachi CP-A300NJ offers a XGA resolution with a 3000 Lumens brightness, while the Hitachi AW250NJ features a WXGA resolution and a 2500 Lumens brightness.
