
Hitachi has proudly introduced the Ultrastar C10K300 6Gbps SAS HDD with a power consumption of only 3.1Watts in idle and 6.1Watts in operational mode. The device also features 64MB of buffer memory, a 10,000rpm speed for only 29dB. If you are interested, these hard drives will be available in 147GB and 300GB models. [Akihabara]

Hitachi’s new Wooo is part of Japan’s KDDI AU Spring line. What makes this handset cool is that it comes with the ability to display 3D videos and pictures. Its 3.1-inch display offers 845 x 480 resolution and can be swiveled horizontally to be more TV-like. Other features include microSD memory card slot, 1Seg TV tuner support, and e-wallet support. Hitachi will release its Professional Series projectors that target large venues. The CP-WX11000 and CP-SX12000 3LCD projectors will target the high-end professional AV marketplace which includes auditoriums, lecture halls, large houses of worship and staging productions. The CP-WX11000 features WXGA resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 6,500 ANSI lumens brightness, 2500:1 contrast ratio, and five optional lenses. Its hybrid filter and dust-resistant cooling system allows the filter to run for up to 10,000 hours without maintenance.
The CP-SX12000 provides SXGA+ resolution, 7,000 ANSI lumens brightness, five optional lenses, 2,500:1 contrast ratio, DMI, BNC, DVI, RGB, composite, component, and S-video connectivity. It also shares a similar dust-resistant cooling system and inorganic LCD panels as with the CP-WX11000. [UberGizmo]

Hitachi boasts its new AV projector that provides 7,500 lumens of brightness. The Hitachi CP-X10000 also features 2,500:1 contrast ratio, ultra-wide range lens shift, 10-bit full digital video processor, 10,000-hour filter and RS-232 network bridge. This projector comes with the bayonet-style lens attachment that allows a choice of lenses with a variety of throw distances for different size audiences. No word on pricing at this time. [Hitachi]

Hitachi Maxell has rolled out its HP-NC20.IPS earphones today. These earphones provide the noise-cancellation technology that is able to cancel up to 20dB of noise. The Hitachi Maxell HP-NC20.IPS Earphones are compatible with 4G iPods, 1G and 2G iPod touches. Just remember that it will reduce battery life by up to 66% when connected. The latest Hitachi CP-X809J video projector is specially made for a professional use. It is actually an inorganic panel based projector that provides a brightness level of 5000 lumens with 275Watts lamp, and 1024×768 resolution. The projector also offers a 1.2x zoom, Ethernet, power management, and four x 4W SRS WOW speakers. The Hitachi CP-X809J retails for approx. €6700 in Japan. [Pocket-lint]

We didn’t go to CEATEC 2008, but those who did spotted this 15mm thin 37-inch HDTV from Hitachi. While details are blurry, this 1,920 x 1,080 panel comes with a nicely designed stand and rumored to be in production sometime in 2009. Kinda makes our bedroom LCD TV look fat and overweight heh. [Engadget]

Hitachi has recently announced the world’s first Blu-Ray Camcorder DZ-BD10HA. This camcorder has the flexibility to record HD video onto three different formats (Blu-ray Disc, Hard Drive, SDHC). The camcorder is also capable of capturing 6.22 mega pixel stills onto an optional SD or SDHC card. Its Face Detection feature automatically detects and focuses on the face to provide true-to-life color accuracy. With the push of one button the user can transfer HD video from the SDHC card or hard drive to a Blu-ray disc all within the camcorder; without having to use PC at all. Hitachi has announced its new Full HD camera, the DZ-BD10H, which will be available on August 9th in japan for 160,000 Yen ($ 1600). This new camera will feature a 7 Megapixel CMOS sensor, 10X optical zoom lens, 2.7 inch screen, image stabilizer and a brand new technology which can recognize upto 5 face simultaneously and adjust the focusing, exposure etc for best image quality. The onboard 30GB hard drive can accommodate 4 hours 30 minutes of HD video, Blu-Ray takes an hour of recording and a 32GB SDHC card can record 4 hours 25 minutes of full HD video. Hitachi will release two new projectors. Both feature a 1,024 x 768 native resolution, 2,200 and 2,600 lumens, a 500:1 contrast ratio, built-in 7-watt speaker and 29 dB noise rating in Whisper Mode along with an anti-theft functionality, remote monitoring / management and a 2,000-hour hybrid filter.
