
Holux comes back with a brand new handheld GPS receiver namely the GPSport 260. The gadget has a 1.5-inch display screen, showing you real time statistics about your activities that can be stored and viewed in plot or track view. The Holux GPSport 260 can also function as a GPS data logger that stores up to 160K way-points. Additional features include a 3D compass, a barometric altimeter, a pedometer and a 1050mAh rechargeable battery that offers up to 20-hour of operation time. The Holux Bluetooth GPS logger will help you chart your tracks wherever you go. The configuration of this navigation gadget is performed using the included Holux ezTour software. You are able to configure the M-1000C to work with a car, bike, or when you’re on your feet for a hike or run. Measuring 62.5mm x 41mm x 17.1mm and weighing at less than 53 grams, the M-1000C features Built-in MTK MT3329 GPS chipset, 66 parallel satellite-tracking channels, Built-in WAAS/ EGNPS Demodulator, Bluetooth connectivity, 20 hour battery life and Auto Power Saving Mode. Come CES in January Holux will release its latest GPS navigation unit dubbed the GPSmile 62. The gadget comes with a multimedia player so you can watch videos and listen to your tunes on your road trips. The 5″ WQVGA widescreen is “edge-free” meaning you can drag maps around nice and smooth. You can store your maps on SD cards up to 4GB, and it also comes with a removable rechargable battery and built-in speakers and Bluetooth. The receiver can track 32 satellites at once and the TMC antenna shows you if there are traffic jams so you can alternate your routes. Holux comes back with the new GPSmile 53CLife GPS navigation gadget that is using Mediatek MT3318 GPS chip and not SiRF. It has a 3.5 inch TFT LCD touch screen with 240×320 resolution, and a SD/MMC card extension for playing MP3s and looking at pictures. Sadly, pricing and availability have not been announced yet.
