
Huawei have introduced their latest wireless modem, the i-Mo, which will debut at Mobile World Congress next week. The Huawei i-Mo comes in the size of a “small key chainâ€. The device supports an HSDPA/HSUPA USB modem and a WiFi b/g chip on board for sharing the connection with other devices. You can also use it as removable storage thanks to its microSD slot. Maximum downlink and uplink speeds of 7.2Mbps and 5.76Mbps (network depending) are also supported. The Huawei i-Mo will be released in Q2 2009. No word on pricing at this time. [Slashgear]

Digitalcube has recently announced the availability of its iStation T5 PMP in South Korea. This high-end PMP comes equipped with HSDPA support and 3D User Interface thanks to a next-generation Triple-Core CPU ‘OMAP2530′. The gadget is available in 8GB/16GB/30GB/60GB storage capacities and has a 4.8-inch WVGA TFT LCD, supports Smooth Scrolling System and Album Cover Flow functions. I know most of you are waiting for the brand new Asus P565 smartphone. Good news is that this Windows Mobile 6.1-powered handset has been unveiled to the market. The phone is powered by 800MHz Marvell processor, a 2.8 inch VGA LCD display, Glide technology, 256MB flash memory, 128MB SDRAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR connectivity, 3MP camera with autofocus and microSD/SDHC memory card slot. The Asus P565 also supports HSDPA 3.6Mbps and UMTS 2100, EDGE/GPRS/GSM 900/1800/1900 connectivity. The Asus P565 Smartphone has the dimension of 102mm x 60.5mm x 16mm and weights at only 120 grams. The spanking new HSDPA handset from Pantech Sky has been released in Korea. The SKY IM-S730 is available exclusively in the South Korean market. The phone features a 2.6-inch wide QVGA display with a 1.3MP digital camera, HSDPA, GPS, FM tuner, and microSD slot. Sadly, there is no word on pricing at this time. According to retailer Carphone Warehouse, the highly anticipated Nokia N96 phone will be released in the UK this summer. The phone is actually the successor to the famous Nokia N95. The handset supports HSDPA, Wi-Fi, a 5MP camera, 16GB flash memory, 2.8 inch LCD display, and DVB-H tune. The Nokia N96 phone also supports for MPEG 4, Windows Media Video and Flash Video formats. Samsung Electronics today released the SPH-W2400 Special Edition which is a swing-typed HSDPA phone adopting AMOLED display. This AMOLED phone is available at limited 1000 units, and suggested price is between $550 and $650. The handset also sports T-DMB and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Sony Ericsson K660 is an HSDPA enabled phone with illuminated shortcut keys which only active when the users are surfing the Net. The navigation keys will serve as a “magnetic mouse pointer†when in Web mode, letting you find your way around the page just as you would on a PC. The phone features 2.0inch QVGA display with landscape Web browsing, 2.0MP camera, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP), FM radio and 256 MB Memory Stick Micro M2. Available in “lime-on-white” or “wine-on-black”, Sony Ericsson K660 will be available in selected markets from Q1 2008.

The Samsung SGH-i780 has been confirmed. Measuring 115.9mm x 61.3mm x 13.3mm, the phone offers HSDPA/WCDMA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity and comes with Windows Mobile 6 Professional, a QWERTY keyboard, full touchscreen capability, a 3.2MP camera, a 2.55 inch 65k color display at 320 x 320 resolution, Bluetooth connectivity, integrated GPS, and a microSD memory card slot. Sharp will release a new phone in Germany through Vodafone. The Sharp 880SH mobile phone features a clean front, with call receive/hangup buttons and navigational keys. The handset comes in a slider design, and is compatible with HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS for network access. The device is equipped with a 2.2 inch QVGA LCD, and a 2.0MP shooter. The Sharp 880SH doubles up as your music player, and features an integrated FM radio for added entertainment. No word on pricing yet.

In the next couple months, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and AT&T will be offering the Motorola RAZR 2 V9m. The new RAZR phone will feature a huge external display, touch controls, expandable memory, Bluetooth A2DP and a 2 Megapixel camera. Sprint will be getting the EVDO version on August 22nd and Verizon will be getting the EVDO version in early September. AT&T will be getting the HSDPA version in early September. Keep an eye out.
