The Samsung SPH-W2500 HSDPA Phone

Samsung launched in Korea the SPH-W2500, a new W-CDMA/HSDPA/GSM/3G phone that has a 2MP digicam, a VGA screen, 3D menus, an MP3 player, and a microSD card reader. The handset is just 13.8mm thick. Pricing has not been announced yet.

LG KH1300 Phone - The 3.6Mbps HSDPA Mobile Phone

These Korean models seem happy to know that LG has launched in Korea the LG KH1300 HSDPA mobile phone. The phone sports 3.6Mbps download speed, so it is able to download one MP3 file in just 7 seconds or a 40MB music video file in 1 minute 30seconds. That’s amazing! The handset allows you to take advantage of WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) roaming service in 21 different countries including Japan, Taiwan, Hongkong, Germany, Italy, and Australia.

In addition, the LG KH1300 features multitasking, text viewer, MP3 player, 1.3MP camera, portable data storage and personal data management including bank account or credit card information. The price tag is at around $420 (after conversion). One more pics after the jump!

AnyDATA Corporation launched ADU-610 which is the “world’s smallest and fastest wireless USB modem”. The device supports 3G networks utilizing the latest HSDPA/UMTS technology. Measuring 35mm × 93mm x 10mm, this Windows Vista certified modem also features an internal antenna and has a built-in battery. ADU-610W allows connection to the Internet at data speeds of up to 7.2Mbps, or at up to 384Kbps over UMTS in areas where HSDPA service is unavailable. Currently, there is no information on pricing and availability.

Nokia and Intel To Develop HSDPA Notebook Module

Mobile telecommunications giant Nokia and Intel have joined to develop an HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) module for laptop computers. The module would help laptop users to find the best wireless connections. The Nokia’s HSDPA module was scheduled for release in the first half of 2007.
